Original Swedish SkyShowtime series Triplex(Tryon), an adaptation of Johanna Hedmann’s best-selling coming-of-age novel, which is described as “a story about love, sex and passion.”
The show is in six parts, starring August Wittgenstein (Das bot, The crown, kafir, Tomb Raider), Felix Sandman (Home for Christmas, Quicksand), Seth Mantius (Cherry) and Rebecca Harper, premieres on Wednesday, June 1. The first two episodes of the show will air that day, followed by two new episodes weekly thereafter.

“When the daughter of his childhood sweetheart approaches middle age, Hugo is sent back 20 years,” reads the series synopsis. “Hugo is about to start his first years at university and moves to Stockholm to become a resident of the Stiller family. There he meets Thora, the daughter of the house. Here he also meets August, Thora’s constant companion and occasional lover. This is just the beginning of a wonderful friendship, of a tempestuous love affair, and the realization that nothing will ever be the same again. This is also the reason why Hugo will never leave. Will he dare to regain everything he has lost?”

Anders Haselius, the director of the series, which was written by Veronika Zako, described it as “an intoxicating, emotional and bittersweet tale about the struggle between the longing for love and the longing for freedom.”
