The heroes of the popular Nickelodeon animated series find themselves on a tropical island filled with dinosaurs in a trailer for their latest big screen adventure. paw patrol: dino movie, Released on Monday.
The Paramount release, scheduled to hit theaters August 14, includes a new Backstreet Boys single, “Bottle Up,” produced by Paramount Animation and Spin Master Entertainment and with guest vocals including Snoop Dogg, Jennifer Hudson and Ron Pardo.
Paw Patrol: The Dino Movie The film is based on the television series created by Keith Chapman, and directed by Cal Brunker, based on a script he co-wrote with Bob Parlin. The short teaser focuses on more daring rescue missions from the heroic pups.
“After their ship gets caught in a mysterious storm, the Paw Patrol kids crash land on an uncharted tropical island filled with dinosaurs. They meet Rex, a pup who has been stranded on the island for years and has become an expert on all things dinosaur. When the Paw Patrol’s arch-rival, Mayor Humdinger, begins recklessly mining in hopes of exploiting the island for its natural resources, he inadvertently causes the eruption of a massive dormant volcano. The Paw Patrol kids are thrown into a series of high-stakes, dinosaur-sized rescues bigger than anything they’ve done before, where they must stop Humdinger before everything on the island goes extinct.
The voice cast includes Carter Young, Mckenna Grace, Terry Crews, Meredith MacNeil, Hayden Chamberlain, Fortune Feimster, Jameela Jamil, Rain Janjua, Bill Nighy, Paris Hilton, Lucien Duncan Reed, William Desrosiers, Nilan Parthiban, and Henri Boulain.
Producer credits are shared between Jennifer Dodge, Laura Clooney and Tony Stevens, with Ronen Harari executive producing.
