Three of the original members of The Pussycat Dolls — Ashley Roberts, Nicole Scherzinger and Kimberly White — reunited with their “Don’t Cha” collaborator Busta Rhymes for an explosive medley performance at the 2026 American Music Awards on Monday night.
The new trio, dressed in skin-tight red leather suits and matching red boots, cruised through snippets of hit singles “Buttons,” “When I Grow Up,” “Club Song” and, of course, “Don’t Cha” while delivering heart-stopping choreography. Busta Rhymes, who was joined by longtime hype man Spliff Starr, rocked his hair as he rocked red leather to coordinate with the high-energy trio.
After nearly two decades and a lineup shuffle, The Pussycat Dolls released “Club Song” in March and announced the PCD Forever Tour that followed. Although the group later canceled most of their North American tour dates, the tour will kick off on June 6 at the Outloud WeHo Pride event in West Hollywood, California, and conclude in London, England, on October 13.
The Pussycat Dolls achieved global success in 2005 with “Don’t Cha”, “Stickwitu” and “Buttons” and their multi-platinum debut album. PCD. “La Cha”, co-written by Sir Mix-a-Lot (whose 1988 single “Swass” is heavily sampled throughout the song), Busta Rhymes and Cee Lo Green, has since been certified platinum by the Recording Industry Association of America.
The American Music Awards were created by Dick Clark Productions. DCP is owned by Penske Media Corporation, Hollywood ReporterParent company, in a subsidiary joint venture between Penske Media and Eldridge.
