Vipul Shah In “Kerala Story 2”
Speaking to India Today, Shah said: “I would say the grapes are sour. To be very honest, I never talked about it, but I would like to put it aside. So, how could he make these comments? I don’t usually comment, but when someone attacks my film, I’m forced to respond. Otherwise, I don’t like to respond. The movie has been released, and I know that these statements made by him are baseless. That’s all I can say.”
CBFC Statement “Kerala Story 2”.
Besides the creative clash, the film has raised questions over its approval by the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC). Shah rejected allegations that the clearance came after legal issues or was changed due to court cases. “No, the film was certified before the case was filed, and that is exactly what the film remains. Whatever happened in the first court, the second court recognized the right and authority of the CBFC to certify the film. So the first judgment is of no consequence in the matter. The right and authority of the CBFC to certify the film is undisputed,” Shah revealed.
