Halloween Horror Nights invites guests to cross the threshold and survive until sunrise in the monster-filled musical world of Ryan Coogler. Sinners.

As part of the event’s 35th anniversary season, Universal Studios Hollywood and Universal Orlando Resort have partnered with Proximity Media to transform Coogler’s original vampire story into an immersive haunted house experience beginning August 28 in Orlando and September 3 in Los Angeles.

Set in the Mississippi Delta in the 1930s, guests will return to the hometown of twin brothers Smoke and Stack, and arrive at the bar they plan to open for the community. But soon after arriving at Club Juke, park-goers will see their celebration turn into chaos and horror when the nefarious red-eyed vampires Remick, Burt and Joan appear. As guests attempt to escape the insatiable vampire hunger, they will be caught up in a deadly struggle between monsters and twins while encountering a number of other characters from the film, including Sammie, Mary, Annie, Pearline and Cornbread along the way.

At Universal Orlando, tickets, upgrades and all-inclusive vacation packages for the event are currently on sale, giving access to 10 new haunted houses, live entertainment, scare zones, street experiences and some “surprises,” according to the park. Guests can currently purchase single-night tickets, an additional Scream Early Pass (gives access to Universal Studios Florida and select haunted houses beginning at 2 PM ET with a valid Halloween Horror Nights admission ticket), and Premium Scream Night, which now returns as an expanded two-night offering – August 27 and October 19.

Other Orlando event add-ons include resort packages that offer event-exclusive perks like a dedicated HHN entry gate, as well as Halloween Horror Nights Express tickets, a RIP tour, and the Behind the Screams: Unmasking the Horror Tour that offers spotlights and walk-throughs of select homes.

Halloween Horror Nights 2026 runs from August 27 to November 1 at Universal Orlando and from September 3 to November 1 at Universal Hollywood.
