Savannah Guthrie has made another emotional plea for the return of her mother, Nancy Guthrie, and now includes a reward of up to $1 million to help bring her home.

“We need to know where she is. We want her to come home. That’s why we’re offering a family reward of up to $1 million for any information that leads to her recovery,” Guthrie said in an Instagram post on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Guthrie said she knows her mother may no longer be alive and that her family needs to resolve the issue after weeks of uncertainty over the missing person case.

“We also know that she may be missing. She may already be gone,” said the affected person. today Co-host. “She may already be back home in the Lord she loves and dancing in the sky with her mother and father, with her beloved brother Pierce, and with our Father.”

She urged anyone with information about her mother’s whereabouts to call 1-800-call-FBI (1-800-225-5324) and that any information can be provided anonymously. The Guthrie family’s reward offer is intended to spark leads or tips from anyone who has until now been reluctant to come forward, Hollywood Reporter I’ve learned.

It is understood the Guthrie family had discussed offering their own reward since the first day of the police investigation and had waited until now to announce their offer to avoid overwhelming law enforcement officers with field commands as they continued their active search. The Guthrie family, in close coordination with the FBI, is offering a reward of up to $1 million where more than one valid claim can eventually be split to help find Nancy Guthrie. The reward offer is not contingent on an eventual arrest or prosecution, as the family seeks information leading to Nancy Guthrie’s recovery.

The Guthrie family began a nearly month-long search for the head of the household after Nancy Guthrie was kidnapped in an apparent violent confrontation and taken from her home in Tucson, Arizona, on February 1. Nancy Guthrie is 84 years old, in poor health and likely without life-sustaining medications, which explains her daughter Savannah’s suggestion that she may have already died in captivity. Meanwhile, the Pima County Sheriff’s Department and FBI agents continue to search for Nancy after she was kidnapped.

The Guthrie family also pledged $500,000 to the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children, which supports missing persons cases, especially around children, and families who have few resources or ongoing access to media coverage during active searches.
