Taylor Swift is officially in it toy story era, where he appeared in Toy Story 5 Premiering in Los Angeles on Tuesday night.
The star has an original song called “I Knew It, I Knew You” in the film, which she wrote and produced alongside frequent collaborator Jack Antonoff. Although Swift was not on the guest list sent to press ahead of the premiere, she took to the carpet before the show wearing a neutral-colored mini dress that featured a floral design.
The Grammy Award winner arrived at the carpet that dominated Hollywood Boulevard in front of the Dolby Theater, from an area blocked off from the press and guests. She joined the film’s stars and filmmakers for a group photo as well as with life-size versions of the featured characters.
“I Knew It, I Knew You” was released on June 5, two weeks before the film’s release, and broke several records within its first 24 hours. The song marks a return to Swift’s country roots and is inspired by cowgirl Jessie’s journey in the new film.
“Writing this song felt like a musical departure and a return home at the same time. Creating something for Jesse was a new challenge and also felt like second nature at the same time. And being toy story A 5-year-old to now…is an adventure I plan to take to infinity and beyond,” Swift wrote in an Instagram post timing the song.
She also thanked writer-directors Andrew Stanton and Randy Newman, who composed the film’s famous score and wrote the song “I’ve Got a Friend in Me,” for the “wonderful sonic tapestry of songs and scores that you have meticulously woven over the years. You have created toy story The world of music, and we’re lucky to live in it.” Swift added that Antonoff “wrote this with so much love for these characters who made us laugh and helped us learn lessons and think outside the backyard throughout our childhood.”
Toy Story 5which sees Buzz, Woody, Jessie and the rest of the gang threatened when a tablet is brought into their children’s home, will hit theaters on June 19.
