The scene plays out like an awards show.
Black SUV with tinted windows. Staff wear all black and carry electronic devices and walkie-talkies. Security in black suits with earpieces. The streets are closed with cones. Police officers and traffic police are patrolling the scene of the accident. Crowds of photographers and video crews.
But it’s not the Oscars. It’s a celebration of Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce at Madison Square Garden in New York.
Guests have already begun arriving at the venue, as seen in the live broadcast posted by the Associated Press on YouTube (watch it below).
Cars are directed to a curtained area under a white tent, where guests are supposed to be let out, away from prying eyes (although it should be noted that some guests, dressed in formal attire, were seen walking towards the check-in gate, where an employee appeared with an electronic device to search for their names before letting them through the venue).
On Thursday night, the couple reportedly hosted a rehearsal dinner for 100 people at the Infosys Theater inside the park. Among the stars spotted on their way to dinner were Selena Gomez, Jack Antonoff, Bradley Cooper and Lena Dunham.
According to photos posted on the Deux Moi website, guests were seen leaving the dinner with gifts written in large letters.
