Despite a no-phone policy at Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce’s wedding on Friday, details of the “intimate” Madison Square Garden ceremony are beginning to emerge from those inside the exclusive event.

While Swift and Kelsey have so far remained mum on the proceedings, AMC Theaters CEO Adam Aron, Maren Morris and Good morning America Hosts Robin Roberts, George Stephanopoulos and Michael Strahan were among those who shared their accounts of what happened in the arena.

Aaron tweeted and then deleted an account detailing the party, writing in part, “Everything…the floors, walls, ceilings…was covered in peach and white. Large, blown-up photos of Taylor and Travis at every age, year after year, from 1 year old to late teens, were on display.”

He added: “A small portion of MSG was cordoned off, devoid of any notion that a basketball or hockey game was ever sharing that space. Somehow, magically, someone had created an outdoor garden in a lush country resort. Everything was green and white this time. I think real flowers and artificial trees greeted fifteen rows of maybe 75 chairs or so. They say there were about a thousand in attendance, but surprisingly everything seemed intimate and small. Everything was close together.”

Saturday GMAStephanopoulos, Roberts and Strahan, who returned to the morning show after the ceremony, revealed what they noticed, sharing that Swift and Kelsey wrote their own vows, which they read from “little books.”

Stephanopoulos said the ceremony was “as intimate as possible, given that it was Madison Square Garden,” with “a garden within the garden. It was so beautiful, and it’s hard to imagine that a venue of this size and a wedding with such stars could feel so personal and intimate.”

In a statement to ABC News, Stephanopoulos said the promises were “everything you could hope for: real, vulnerable, serious, and silly.”

Roberts confirmed that Stevie Nicks performed as reported before the event, adding that the top-secret proceedings seemed “really intimate” and like “any wedding you’d attend” with neighbors and high school friends.

“It was their dream wedding, and it was truly amazing,” Strahan added. “Congratulations to both.”

Elsewhere, Morris shared a photo on Instagram of a handkerchief that was reportedly given to attendees, in case they started crying at the wedding. The napkins were embroidered with lace, Swift and Kelce’s initials, the date and location of the wedding (July 3, 2026 and New York City) and the “Blank Space” song, “So It’ll Be Forever…” Kelce previously named “Blank Space” one of his favorite Swift songs.

LBC News also captured Swift’s aunt, Robin Gentry, on her way out of Madison Square Garden on Friday night as she shared this insight into the ceremony: “They cried, they laughed, they danced, they hugged, they kissed.”

Stephanopoulos said Sandler was “funny and touching,” but he not only officiated the ceremony, but also performed an original song that was “humorous and touching and was about their love,” sources told TMZ.

TMZ also reported that Jason Kelsey’s daughters were flower girls who threw petals around Swift as she walked down the aisle to the tune of one of her own songs, which is played over strings.
