Another music industry source based in Nashville also claimed that the city was “buzzing” with reports that the couple were “already legally married.”
The report comes after reports claimed that officials familiar with the marriage licensing process in New York State said that “there has been no indication of Swift being licensed in recent days,” adding, “We will find out.”Under New York law, a marriage license is valid for 60 days after it is issued and typically requires a 24-hour waiting period before a legal ceremony can take place, although a judge can waive this waiting period.
