Kyle Cook gave his first interview since the reunion – and Summer house The star is not backing down.
talking to the people In a story published a day after the final episode of the three-part reunion on Tuesday night, the Bravolebrity opened up about the betrayal he’s felt since discovering that his estranged wife, Amanda Patula, was having an affair with his co-star, friend West Wilson.
“Sometimes it doesn’t feel real until I see them together,” the Loverboy CEO told the outlet about Patula and Wilson. “I considered West a really good friend, and that’s not something I could understand doing to anyone close to me. We’re a close-knit family; it’s like he’s fucking his own sister.”
Patula and Wilson confirmed their surprise relationship on March 31, about two months after Patula and Cook publicly announced their split after four years of marriage. The confirmation sparked a scandal and ratings spike Bravo hasn’t seen since films like “Scandoval” in 2023. It left the cast fractured by secrecy and infidelities not only of Cook, but also of cast member Ciara Miller — Patula’s former best friend and Wilson’s ex.
The cast spent three episodes over the course of a 10-hour taping trying to get clarity and maybe even closure, but the reunion ended so incomplete Tuesday that Bravo announced an additional episode to air next week (July 16 at 9 p.m. on Bravo) with follow-up sessions among several cast members to see what’s developed since the reunion taped on April 23.

Recalling how he found out — just days before their statement, when he tracked Batula’s location to Wilson’s apartment — “I couldn’t sleep,” Cook says, so he reached out to Miller. “Ciara likes the house. She wants to drag herself to my apartment to meet up? I had a sinking feeling in my stomach.”
The day before the news broke, Cook said Patula told Miller via text message. “Ciara called me straight away, and I finally heard from Amanda nine hours later,” he says. “Even though I already had a lot of pieces of the puzzle, I was still in a state of disbelief. This would be extremely reckless, reckless, and irresponsible, and Amanda is usually none of those things.”
As for the confusing timeline, Cook says Patula moved out of their apartment at the beginning of November. “When I finally came out, we were creating separation, to make an effort with each other. So the idea was that we would go to couples therapy and go on a date every week. Well, none of that happened. We weren’t putting any more effort or work into the marriage,” he says.
He “almost pushed her away,” he admits, but “I think that’s what set her off.”
He adds: “I have never physically interfered with my marriage. Am I guilty of inappropriate behavior? Absolutely.” He admits to being “very flirtatious for a married man, yes. I acted out by staying out very late, and it wasn’t a physical affair.”
He says Batula still has things to pack at their apartment, and, referring to Wilson, joked, “I’m trying to be as patient as I can, but I think I’m running out of patience. I think she has a friend who can come over and maybe help pack the car. I won’t be there.”
But, as seen on TV, Cook still cares for Patula. He says they talk regularly, and share two rescue dogs, Reese and Ryder. “There’s still a lot of love, there’s still a lot of regret. I think the part that hurts me is when you talk about our marriage and our relationship as if there weren’t good times,” he says.
However, he describes Patula and Wilson’s behavior at the reunion as “more defensive than remorseful”, and remains confused even after his conversation with Wilson, which will be broadcast live. The summer house: the consequences.
“I finally got him to admit some things I needed to hear him say,” Cook says. “I was frustrated because he didn’t come prepared to be 100 percent honest about everything. He also has his own disturbing behavior that caught him off guard Summer house. “I’m really disgusted with myself because of the way I spoke to Amanda,” he admits. “Just because they ended up in this relationship, it doesn’t erase my flaws, my mistakes, and my regrets. I’ve done my best to apologize and learn from that.”
He and Patola now plan to go through a divorce “instead of a prenup.” He says Batula took the first step forward in the legal process; He received an email from her lawyer in mid-March when the rumors about Batula and Wilson started.
But he will continue filming with them, if they all return for Season 11.
“If they come to me, I’ll answer,” he says of doing another season. “I hope we can coexist peacefully. I feel like life is too short. Have you forgiven me? [West]?
