‘Streets of Rage’ stars James Samuel as director, Pat Casey and Josh Miller as writers

I hired Lionsgate Clarence book Director Jeymes Samuel is set to direct the Sega adaptation Streets of Rage Classic video game.

Sonic the Hedgehog Writers Pat Casey and Josh Miller will write the project, and will build on an earlier draft of the screenplay by Derek Kolstad. The action game series began as a popular video game series in the 1990s with strong sales.

Samuel’s film credits include The harder they fall and Clarence book. Casey and Miller wrote or co-wrote films for Sega and Paramount Pictures. Sonic the Hedgehog The trilogy of films and the global franchise Violent nightStarring David Harbour.

The duo is also writing the horror comedy Dead drunk By Oscar-winning producer Graham King and his GK Films production banner. Casey and Miller are expected to rely heavily on Streets of Rage Video game to fill out the movie’s characters and story.

Producers on the game-to-film adaptation are Toru Nakahara, Dimitri M. Johnson, Michael Lawrence Goldberg, and Timothy I. Stevenson, Todd Black, Jason Blumenthal, Tony Shaw and Kolstad. Casey and Miller executive produce alongside Elena Sandoval for Story Kitchen.
