Stephen Colbert is definitely getting a lot of love as he approaches the end Late Show.
During Tuesday’s episode of the CBS late-night talk show, guests Julia Louis-Dreyfus and Pedro Pascal hinted at some jealousy… Tonight show Host Jimmy Fallon got on Colbert’s lips the night before.
It all started on Monday night, when the other late-night hosts — Fallon, Jimmy Kimmel, John Oliver and Seth Meyers — sat down with Colbert on Late Show. At one point, while playing a game, the group was asked: “Have you ever gotten into a fight with a guest on camera?”
Colbert proceeded to look specifically at Fallon, who asked, “Why are you looking at me like that?” “Because I think you dated the guests on camera,” the host replied, to which Fallon replied, “No, I think you just want to get along with me.”
Late Show The host then pulled Fallon in for a kiss. Yet, a pleasant surprise Tonight show The host added: “Awesome! I never saw it happen there.”
Colbert later revealed that he also engaged in smooching Sally Field, Helen Mirren, Allison Janney, Jeff Daniels and Andrew Garfield at one time or another throughout his run on the CBS show. He added: “Jane Fonda, we didn’t kiss, but she stuck her tongue in my ear.”
Fast forward to Tuesday, and it appears that Fallon’s kiss was clearly on Louis-Dreyfus’s mind as she had Colbert play his Monday night segment again.
She then hinted that she wanted to join Colbert’s guest list to be embraced. “Nobody’s watching. It’s just between us.” Vice President The star said, and the host replied: What harm is there in that?
“Nothing! What could go wrong?” Louis-Dreyfus quipped, drawing laughter from the audience.
The couple then shared a kiss as the room erupted in cheers. “Well, the interview is going great so far,” Colbert joked afterward. “Why don’t we do another take?”
Well, the homogeneity didn’t stop there. Later in the episode, after Pascal sits down to chat with the host, The last of us The actor indicated that he wants something, and not just anything, from Colbert as well. The duo then locked lips as the crowd cheered loudly again
“I was jealous,” Pascal quipped, to which Colbert replied, “No need! Anytime. These lips will be free soon.”
