A documentary about a prominent researcher into unexplained phenomena is ready to go.
Falcon Scout Media has acquired North American rights to Sleeping dog It plans a theatrical and digital release in mid-May. Director Michael Laszowski’s film focuses on director and ufologist Jeremy Corbel, known for his research on UFOs and directing the 2018 documentary. Bob Lazar: Area 51 and flying saucers.
Sleeping dog Decades in the making, it chronicles Corbel’s unlikely path from mixed martial artist to journalist at the heart of the battle to uncover unidentified anomalies. Corbell worked with investigative reporter George Knapp to obtain and disseminate military-photographed UAP footage and provided briefings to Congress.
The documentary includes never-before-seen footage from Corbel’s early investigations, as well as interviews with insiders such as astronaut Dr. Edgar Mitchell, Colonel John P. Alexander, John Lear, Bob Lazarus, David Grosch, Edmund Storms, and Cmdr. David Fravor. The film examines the challenges Corbell faced in his efforts to shed light on his findings.
“This is the hardest thing I’ve ever allowed people to see in person,” Corbel says in a statement.
Corbel and Lazowski produced the film, which has Jim Martin as an executive producer. WME’s Lance Klein represents the project.
