Singer Arpit Bala breaks silence when he threw a bottle at a fan during Hyderabad concert: 'My face is not a starting point'

Singer Arpit Bala spoke about his clash that went viral at a Hyderabad concert where a fan threw a bottle at him during the performance. In a YouTube video, Bala said it was not an explanation, but rather his side of the story, admitting that he reacted impulsively out of anger. Bala, known as Barjad, condemned the concert’s unsafe behaviour.

Singer Arpit Bhalla broke his silence after a video from his concert in Hyderabad went viral, which showed an on-stage clash with a fan. It happened during his performance on March 28 when someone threw a bottle on stage mid-song.

Days later, Bala posted a video on YouTube sharing his perspective on the issue. He described this as “not an explanation” but simply his opinion of what happened. “This is not an explanation, but I want you to see my side of the story,” the singer explained. “Everything was great for the first four songs, and everyone was enjoying themselves.”

Suddenly, while I was walking, a bottle came and hit me in the eye. The problem is not only that she hit me, but that they had already thrown a bottle or two before.

“When it hit my eye, it cut off the blood flow, and I got angry.”

Arpit Bala talks about anger and safety risks

“What I said or did in anger…was it justified? In a way, you can say I should have been the bigger person, but it’s easier to say that when someone is provoking you. I got hit in the face, and it wasn’t even disrespectful, it was just a safety hazard.”

He added: “My face is not Paul’s point.”Bala admitted his reaction was knee-jerk, admitting he “lashed out” in anger. He admitted that this was not the best move, but stressed that such measures go further. “On impulse, I lashed out at them… I shouldn’t have done that… but when you cross the line, you can’t expect me to mess with that.”

Arpit Bala’s rise to fame

Arpit Balabantarai, popularly known as Arpit Bala, shot to fame with his hit song ‘Bargad’ which released in 2025. He is known for songs like ‘Rakhlo Tum Chhupaake’, ‘Ik Kudi’, ‘Nahani’ and ‘Pyari Amaanat’ as well.
