Officers stopped the vehicle without further incident, and recovered an AR-15 assault rifle and seven empty casings from inside, linking them directly to the crime scene, LAPD spokesman Armen Arias confirmed and Sgt. Jonathan de Vera. The 35-year-old suspect, identified Monday as Ivana Lysette Ortiz of Orlando, Florida, was arrested on suspicion of attempted murder.
