Television personality Sharon Osbourne is selling the nearly half-acre Los Angeles estate she shared with her late husband, heavy metal icon Ozzy Osbourne. The couple’s beautifully restored home, filled with signature Hollywood details, is back on the market for $17 million.

The Osbourne family moved into the Hancock Park Hotel in 2015, a full decade after their MTV reality series Osborne He ended a career that lasted four seasons. While the show introduced Ozzy’s eccentricities to a new generation, he had already spent decades as a prominent figure in music, first as the frontman for Black Sabbath and then as a successful solo artist. Sharon, along with the couple’s children Jack and Kelly, have become stars in their own right thanks to the hit series.

Designed in 1929 by architect AK Kellogg, the property is steeped in Hollywood history. The Osborne family purchased the home in 2015 for $11.85 million. It was first put on the market in 2022, when the couple considered moving to England, and was initially listed for $18 million before lowering the price to $17.5 million and eventually withdrawing it.

The meticulous restoration and maintenance process has preserved the home’s historic architecture while elevating it with modern luxuries. The chef’s kitchen opens to the family room, breakfast area and outdoor dining space complete with pizza oven and barbecue. The grounds feature spacious lawns, manicured gardens, and a swimming pool covered in handcrafted mosaic tiles.

The main level includes a large foyer, formal dining room, living room and wood-paneled library, plus additional spaces suitable for a staff or home office. One of the property’s standout features is the impressive fireplace that evokes old Hollywood glamor, complete with a built-in bar. Engraved on the fireplace are the signatures of past celebrity visitors, including Natalie Wood, Mel Tormé, Rita Moreno, and dozens of other notable names.

Upstairs, the house has four spacious en-suite bedrooms, making a total of seven bedrooms and 11 bathrooms throughout the property.

Described on real estate listing site Redfin as “one of Hancock Park’s legendary estates,” this gated estate emphasizes privacy while showcasing craftsmanship and detail rarely found today. “Meticulous restorations have preserved the historic architecture, while elevating the property to a level of epic charm with all the modern luxuries of today,” the listing notes.

The house is located in the 500 block of South Hudson Street in Los Angeles.
