Farah Khan visited Murali Sharma Ashwini Kalsekar’s house in Mumbai for her cooking vlog, and recalled a mishap in the Main Hoon Naa belt that left SRK laughing. The couple shared their love story, showing off their all-white home, mandir floors and kitchen, before enjoying baingan and lunch with Farah.
Farah Khan and her chef Dilip made their way into actor couple Murali Sharma and Ashwini Kalsekar’s Mumbai home in the latest YouTube cooking vlog episode. The duo welcomed them joyfully with big smiles and prepared a delicious baingan bashdi for the occasion.
During the visit, Farah, the director of Main Hoon Naa, recalled shooting with Murali, who played Khan in the film.

Considering the time of shooting of the hit film in 2004, Murali said, “I only had to fly up to the first floor.” “At that time, the quality of the belt was not very good and people did not know how to use it properly,” Farah said.
He just had to get out of the car and Murali was hanging on the door. Both Murali and the door flew.”He continued, “These people were laughing. It was my first time on the rope. When Mr Shah Rukh Khan came, the whole shot was shown. He rolled on the floor laughing.” His wife, Ashwini, laughed out loud and said, “Even when you see that shot now, he has those expressions of genuine fear.”

The conversation then moved to the living room, where the two actors shared the story of how their romance with Farrah began.
Murali and Ashwini married in 2009, after first meeting on the sets of the 2005 film ‘Apaharan’. The couple has spoken openly in the past about their struggle to have children, citing health issues and financial constraints. Adding a touch of humor to the vlog, Farah’s cook, Dileep, appeared dressed as Vasoli Bhai, the unforgettable character played by Mukesh Tiwari in the serial ‘Golmaal’.

Murali and Ashwini’s house in Mumbai is spacious and follows an all-white color throughout.
From the walls and ceiling to the curtains, each element carried soothing tones, complemented by the brown sofas. Their love of books was also evident, with an entire shelf in one room dedicated to a large collection. While giving a tour of the same place, Ashwini pointed out her makeup corner, mentioning that she does her own makeup for film roles.
“Artists should be like her. People pay lakhs of rupees to makeup artists. You know what, we save a lot of money,” Farah expressed.
Mandir flooring, kitchen tour and lunch together
Ashwini also showed off the flooring near her mandir, which she designed herself using real flowers. As the vlog ended, the couple took Farah on a tour of their bedroom and kitchen. The kitchen also had an airy feel and had white cabinets and countertops. Once the Andhra-style baingan chutney was ready, Farah presented the couple with gifts, and then the group sat down to enjoy lunch together.
