The acquisition was announced at CinemaCon, along with the name of the studio’s new specialized division – Clockwork. The unit was launched in December after Warners film executives Mike De Luca and Pam Abdi hired three executives from Tom Quinn’s independent label Neon.

No other details were available about the film, but the film follows Baker’s success at last year’s Oscars AnuraIn addition to Best Picture, it won Best Original Screenplay, Best Editor, and Best Director, while the film’s hero, Mickey Madison, won Best Actress.
Parks arrived at Warners earlier this year from Coen’s Oscar-winning label Neon, where he served as head of marketing, which released Anura.
