Netflix has added the cast for season three Nobody wants this With nine new recurring roles revealed on Wednesday.
Along with series creator Erin Foster who is set to play Nicole, an individualistic and chaotic mess, there are also recurring roles for Sarah Silverman as Rabbi Eden, who teaches an Introduction to Judaism course; Andrew Rannells as Sebastian, Joan’s enemy in her conversion class; and Keyla Monteroso Mejia as Amber, a single woman obsessed with finding a Jewish husband.
Along with the return of series regulars Kristen Bell, Adam Brody, Justin Loeb, Timothy Simmons, and Jackie Tohn, there are also guest roles for Avan Jogia as Travis; Poorna Jagannathan to play Eleanor; Sadie Sandler as Dennis; Stephanie Koenig as Bobby; and Steven Weber as Julian, a funny and safe divorced father.
Nobody wants this In its second season, it once again focuses on atheist podcast host Joan, played by Bell, and unconventional rabbi Noah (Brody), whose unparalleled chemistry continues to surprise everyone in their lives. This included Joanne’s sister Morgan (Loupe), brother Sasha (Simmons) and sister-in-law Esther (Toon).
In the upcoming third season, Joan and Noah will return “and are fully committed to bringing their lives — and their loved ones — together. But their differences are still there and cannot be ignored. The challenge now is not just falling in love against all odds, but staying together despite them,” according to the producers’ synopsis.
Nobody wants this It is executive produced by showrunners Jenny Konner and Bruce Eric Kaplan, along with Foster, Bell and Sarah Foster, Nora Silver, Steven Levitan, Daniel Stockdyk, Jeff Morton, and Uli Obst. The series is produced by Al-Eshreen TV.
