Salman Khan mourns the death of his close friend Sushil Kumar; Emotional tribute pens: 'No tears for you, brother, only memories and laughter'

On Sunday, Salman Khan mourned the loss of his dear friend Sushil Kumar, in an emotional post. Taking to his social media account, the actor, who rarely posts tributes, took to sharing photos and a deep personal tribute.

Recalling their friendship that spanned over four decades, Khan wrote: “This man has been a brother for 42 years. He is the sweetest, kindest, most helpful even if he is down and always smiling and dancing and feels no pain and no stress in the worst situations. Be it financial, emotional or physical, he would say ki farak nai painda sab theek hoga.”

The actor praised Kumar’s resilience and spirit, adding, “Sushil Kumar is his name or at least it was his name until 5 minutes ago. Goodbye brother. He lived like a man, fought death like a freaking heavyweight champion.”

Khan, who chose to celebrate his friend’s life rather than mourn him, continued: “No tears for you, brother, only memories and laughter.” He also revealed that Kumar passed away peacefully and wrote, “My friend died with a smile on his face. Well done brother.”Speaking about life and loss, Khan went on to write, “Koi pehle koi baad mein Everyone will go and they don’t know when and how toh kuch kar ke jao (Some go early, some late but all must go one day.)

“We don’t know when or how, so do something meaningful before you go.”He ended the tribute by adding, “Now enjoy your cigarettes and whiskey cheers, bro. I think I’m going to miss you a little.”

Sharing another tearful picture on his handle, he wrote another long note that read, “Jisko jaana hai, usse kabhi mat roko. Jis ko uss ko bulana tha woh toh jayega hi. Bulane ke chaar kaaran hain Ek ke Sabko in the end jaana hai.”2.Achhe admi ko jaldi bula liya jaata hai.3.Ki aapne Mother Earth ka rent, EMI, GST nahi bhara hai toh wo bharne ka ek opportunity hai.4- Last jo jaata hai vo hota hai ganda corrupt, dishonest etc. vo last jate hai we will wait for them. Khan went on to add: “Enjoy bro. You have left this planet. Talk to your wife, she knows you left her for someone else out there, haha.”

On the work front, Salman Khan will next be seen in a project tentatively titled #SVC63, featuring actress Nayanthara and directed by Vamshi Paidipally. The film is scheduled to arrive in theaters on Eid 2027.Meanwhile, Salman is also gearing up for the release of ‘Maatrubhumi: May War Rest in Peace’, which also stars Chitrangada Singh. The film, which was originally titled ‘Battle of Galwan’, is still awaiting its release date.
