Salman Khan paid a courtesy visit to the Slum Rehabilitation Authority (SRA) office in Mumbai on Friday evening. During the visit, he inaugurated the SRA’s newly established Data Collection and Verification Support Center (IT Server Room).
The actor also distributed house keys to the beneficiaries, many of whom could not stop smiling. After the event, Salman shared a fun moment with reporters and asked them not to ask questions about ‘Matrubhumi’.

Before interacting with reporters after the social event, Salman lightened the mood with his signature sense of humour. “Ask me anything, not just one question,” he said, smiling at the media. “There is no point in asking about that.” He was clearly dodging questions about ‘Maatrubhumi’, a film that was in the news recently due to CBFC-related hurdles and its delayed release. His visit underscored the Maharashtra government’s endeavor to advance the mission of slum rehabilitation through modern, transparent, people-centred governance.

There have been several reports in recent months claiming that the film has undergone changes and reshoots, along with reports that ‘Maatrubhumi’ has faced hurdles with the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC), which has allegedly withheld the film’s approval certificate for the time being. However, Salman Khan’s production company, SKF, has denied the allegations. The production house stated, “We request the media and individuals to refrain from circulating unconfirmed information. Any official updates regarding the film will be shared by Salman Khan Films through its official channels only.”
