Saif Ali Khan makes a powerful statement about paparazzi culture, says personal boundaries must be respected: ‘My life was good without them’
Saif Ali Khan shared his views on the ever-growing paparazzi culture in India, expressing his concern over the constant public exposure that celebrities face. The actor believes that taking pictures daily reduces the feeling of mystery associated with movie stars, and he also stressed the importance of respecting personal boundaries.During a conversation with Barkha Dutt, Saif explained why he doesn’t particularly like the paparazzi culture that has become increasingly common in the entertainment industry. Reflecting on the impact of constant media attention, he said: “I feel like it takes away from stardom so much because you keep seeing these people every day and then it takes away from the magic of the screen.”While admitting that photographers help bring celebrities closer to the masses, Saif admitted that he never felt the need for such visibility.
“My life was fine without them,” he said, adding that photographers and journalists play completely different roles and should not be treated equally.

The actor also addressed the incident of photographers entering his residence. Speaking about the incident, Saif pointed out that the situation had gone beyond the limits, and stressed that there must be clear boundaries. He said that the photographers had “crossed the boundaries,” adding that “everyone needs to be within limits.”
Saif further explained that although he respects journalism, paparazzi culture is a completely separate phenomenon. According to the actor, maintaining privacy is essential despite being a public figure, and he believes there should be mutual respect when it comes to personal space.
