Ryan Reynolds, Jason Momoa’s ‘Animal Friends’ movie postponed to early 2027

Warner Bros. once again changing the release date of its live-action hybrid film Animal friends.

The road trip adventure feature is now scheduled to hit theaters on January 22, 2027, after previously being scheduled for May 1, 2026. Before that, the film was scheduled to be released on October 10, 2025. Peter Atencio is directing the film from a screenplay by Kevin Burrows and Matt Meader.
