Popular TV comedian Richard Ayoade has been involved in a major car accident in south-east London. According to the latest reports shared online, a car collided with the comedian’s car after hitting pedestrians in the same area.

The Sun reported a major car accident in East Dulwich, south-east London. A speeding car in the area hit some pedestrians before crashing into the side of Richard Ayoade’s car, which he was driving near the spot. As of now, no one from the cast has shared any update about his health. However, according to the report, he was seen getting out of his car while holding his neck.The report added that due to the accident, two women, who were hit by the speeding car, were taken to a nearby hospital to receive treatment.
The two women involved in the incident were seriously injured and are currently being treated at a nearby hospital.A statement from the report said: “A Renault came speeding down the road and hit a woman – she ended up on the other side of the roundabout. The Renault then collided with Richard Ayoade’s car.” According to the report, an eyewitness from the area reported that many people thought someone had died due to the seriousness of the accident.
Their statement read: “Everyone froze at the sound of twisting metal. It was clearly a bad accident. The screams of a pedestrian who had been hit could then be heard. It was a complete shock. Many people ran outside. It was clear from the aftermath of the accident that the Renault was traveling at a high speed. My immediate thought was: ‘I hope no one dies in the accident’. I was afraid someone might have died.”The comedian was seen leaving the area with several of his belongings in hand when authorities arrived at the scene.
He was also seen speaking to authorities at the scene about what happened.So far, the Metropolitan Police Service has confirmed that it is investigating the matter.
