Tollywood actor Varun Tej will next be seen in the upcoming Korean horror-comedy, ‘Korean Kanakaraju’, directed by Merlapaka Gandhi. It’s been in the works for over a year now, and the latest reports suggest that manufacturers are eyeing an August release.

According to a report by 123Telugu, the Varun Tej film is expected to hit the big screens on August 7, 2026. Additionally, it is also said that the makers of the film will be releasing a new glimpse in the third week of June. It should be noted that the manufacturers have not yet made an official announcement.

Earlier in April, the makers shared some behind-the-scenes glimpses as they shared a video where the team can be seen working and enjoying the filming of the song ‘Kamsahamnida’.
The makers shared it on social media and wrote, “Behind every crazy song… there’s an even crazier industry! Here’s BTS’ take on #Kanakaraju’s debut single #Kamsahamnida.”
