It’s almost time to binge watch the trailer of ‘Dhurandhar: The Revenge’. Hours before the Aditya Dhar directorial trailer is released online, the makers seem to have excited fans by teasing the impressive runtime of the trailer. The makers announced in a tweet that the trailer which stars Ranveer Singh in the lead will be ‘4 minutes’ long. The tweet read: “4 minutes of Pure Adrenaline Rush trailer in just a few hours.”The post came ahead of its 11:01 a.m. debut, which Singh had announced a day earlier on his official address.

Durandar 2To match the running time of the trailer of ‘Dhurandhar’.

The trailer for the sequel is expected to match not only the length of the first film, but also the size of the first film. The trailer of the original ‘Dhurandhar’, which was released in November 2025, ran for 4 minutes and 8 seconds and quickly became the center of online conversation and has clocked over 93 million views on YouTube.

Unlike the usual promotional shots, this trailer largely avoided revealing the central premise of the story. Instead, it introduced the main characters of the film. They included Arjun Rampal as the “Angel of Death” Major Iqbal, R Madhavan as the “Karma Chariot Leader” Ajay Sanyal, Akshaye Khanna as the “Apex Predator” Rehman Dhakait, and Sanjay Dutt as the “Djinn” SP Choudhary Aslam. The show concluded with a quick montage of action sequences before finally revealing Singh’s character Hamza Ali Mazari, described as the “wrath of God”.

Runtime of ‘Dhurandhar: The Revenge’ movie.

The sequel, directed by Dhar, has already created a lot of buzz during its announced runtime. Early listings on international booking platforms in markets such as Australia and the US suggested a whopping 3 hours and 55 minutes. If confirmed, it will make the film one of the longest-running Indian films in modern cinema. It may make the running time about 30 minutes longer than the first batch.

‘Dhurandhar: The Revenge’ will have a wide release

Unlike the first film, which was released only in Hindi, ‘Dhurandhar: The Revenge’ is set to have a much wider release. The film will release in cinemas worldwide on March 19, 2026, in Hindi as well as Telugu, Tamil, Kannada and Malayalam.

‘Dhurandhar: The Revenge’ will be released as a single

The sequel is also expected to benefit from the single release box office window in India. Last week, Yash announced that his thriller ‘Toxic’ has been postponed to June 4, 2026, thus avoiding a clash.

In its statement, the team pointed to the growing tensions in the Middle East that are affecting global timetables.Meanwhile, Hollywood sci-fi film ‘Project Hail Mary’, starring Ryan Gosling, has been postponed in India from March 20 to March 27, which could give ‘Dhurandhar 2’ an undisputed theatrical run during its opening week.
