Bollywood power couple Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone made a rare public appearance in the city on Thursday as the actor’s film ‘Dhurandhar: The Revenge’ achieved a major milestone at the box office by crossing the Rs 1,000-crore mark globally.

Keeping their look fairly simple, wearing simple jeans and a black T-shirt, the pair twinned on their relaxed day out on the town. According to paparazzi shots, Ranveer and Deepika were seen enjoying a simple date at a local restaurant, indulging in dosas.

After having a meal with Ranveer’s father, Jagjit Singh Bhavnani, Deepika and Ranveer looked rather cheerful as they obliged the hotel staff to click a selfie. Pictures circulating online see the couple all smiles as they linked their arm around the restaurant staff and posed for a click.
The photo showed the entire restaurant staff enthusiastically gathering to take group photos. After their visit to the restaurant, the two were seen driving off in their car before driving away.
Durandar: Revenge Box office success
On the other hand, ‘Dhurandhar: The Revenge’ broke records at the box office. The film entered the Rs 1,000-crore club on the seventh day, making it one of the fastest films in Indian box office history to reach the milestone in record time. At the same time, it is also in a class of its own, with reports suggesting that the film will overtake the lifetime collection of ‘Dhurandhar’ in just a matter of days. The film is now gearing up for another record-breaking weekend.
‘Dhurandhar 2’ has grossed a worldwide gross of Rs 1,067.24 crore with an India gross of Rs 805.32 crore and an overseas gross of Rs 261.92 crore.
