Interestingly, Deepika Chikhlia, who played the role of Sita in Ramayan, had an ambivalent reaction.“I have watched the teaser and it is very nice. Bahut rich lag raha hai. Star-studded cast and release schedule

Directed by Nitesh Tiwari, the film features Ranbir Kapoor as Lord Ram and Sai Pallavi as Sita. Yash will be seen as Ravana, while Sunny Deol and Ravi Dubey will play the roles of Hanuman and Lakshman respectively.

The ensemble also includes Kajal Aggarwal, Rakul Preet Singh, Kunal Kapoor, Adinath Kothar, Sheeba Chadha and Indira Krishnan.Ramayana: Part 1 is scheduled to release on Diwali this year, and Part 2 is expected to hit theaters on Diwali 2027.
