Veteran actor Rajesh Sharma, who has given memorable performances in films like ‘Khosla Ka Ghosla’, ‘Ishqiya’ and ‘Special 26’, is on his way to recovery after a recent ill-health. The actor was rushed to hospital after suffering an insect bite while shooting for Prabhas’s upcoming film ‘Fauzi’ at Ramoji Film City. Later, his condition deteriorated, and he was transferred to a hospital in Dhakoria, West Bengal, where he remained under medical observation.
The actor has been discharged from the hospital and is recovering well now, and this latest update has come as a relief to his fans.

Sharing an update on the actor’s health, Federation of Western India Cine Employees (FWICE) president B N Tiwari confirmed to India Today that Rajesh Sharma has completed his treatment and has returned to Mumbai. “He has recovered well and has already returned to Mumbai from Kolkata, where he was admitted to the hospital,” he said.
His sugar levels rose, leading to complications, but he is doing well now. He will resume work in a few days.

Earlier, actress Sudipa Chatterjee shared details about the accident that led to Rajesh Sharma being hospitalized. According to her statement, the actor was talking with local technicians in an area surrounded by dense vegetation after the shoot when he was bitten by an insect, possibly a poisonous bug or spider.
Since the bite initially appeared to be minor, he did not seek immediate medical attention and traveled back to Kolkata.
However, his health deteriorated during the flight as he developed high fever, shortness of breath and a serious infection in his right leg, requiring urgent hospitalization.

Now, after doctors have given him the green light to return home, Rajesh Sharma is expected to resume shooting in the coming days, once he makes a full recovery. The actor’s quick recovery was good news for his fans and colleagues, many of whom wished him well after hearing about his condition. While Prabhas’s Fozzie is still in production, the veteran actor is rumored to be back in action soon.
