'Raja Shivaji' Collection at Box Office 2nd Day [Hindi]: Riteish Deshmukh's film earns Rs 3.40 crore, gross exceeds Rs 21 crore

Riteish Deshmukh has been working on his passion project ‘Raja Shivaji’ for a long time. Now, the film is finally released in theaters and is being loved by the audience. The film is based on the life of the founder of the Maratha Empire, Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj.The film is said to have been shot in Marathi and Hindi simultaneously. Well, the Marathi version is doing great numbers at the box office, while its Hindi counterpart is doing well on the collections.

‘Raja Shivaji’ Box Office Collection Day 2 (Hindi)

On its first day in theatres, the Hindi version of ‘Raja Shivaji’ grossed Rs 3.35 crore across 4,251 shows. According to a Sacnilk report, on the second day, the Hindi version of the period drama grossed Rs 3.40 crore across 4,295 shows.

This brings the total net collection to Rs 6.75 lakh crore.Meanwhile, the total collection (including Hindi and Marathi) on day 2 stood at Rs 10.55 lakh crore, taking the total net collection in India to Rs 21.90 lakh crore.

Riteish Deshmukh’s film also faces competition from Ek Din, starring Junaid Khan and Sai Pallavi, and Hollywood releases – Michael Jackson biopic ‘Michael’ and fashion film ‘The Devil Wears Prada 2’.Not only this, Ranveer Singh’s ‘Dhurandhar: The Revenge’ is also showing in select cinemas.
