Prime Video knows that fans are excited about what’s highly anticipated The summer she turned beautiful movie, but they issue a strong warning to those trying to visit the active set.
The follow-up film to the hit teen drama is currently in production following the conclusion of season three last year. Indeed, photos and videos of the work team have spread on social media.
However, the streamer is now asking fans for privacy. In a joint Instagram post, Amazon MGM Studios, Prime Video and the show’s official account wrote: “We love the action, but sharing locations and site visits disrupts filming and creates real safety concerns for cast and crew. We’re working hard to create a protected bubble to produce the best film possible.”
“Please help us protect Cousins’ magic until it is ready to be shared,” the statement concluded. The post also included a video with the words “Privacy Please” written in the sand at the beach.
This isn’t the first time Prime Video has had to give a warning TSITP Fans. Last year, ahead of the Season 3 premiere in July, the streamer shared some community guidelines, warning viewers about bullying and hate speech.
“Cousins is our safe place,” the post said at the time. “It’s all good, it’s all magical. Let’s keep the conversation nice this summer.”
“We have a zero-tolerance policy for bullying and hate speech. If you engage in any of the following, you will be banned,” the post added, listing “community guidelines” that included “hate speech or bullying,” “targeting our staff or staff,” and “harassing or trolling community members.”
The main cast is set to return for the feature-length installment, including Lola Tong, Christopher Prinny, Gavin Casalegno, Sean Kaufman, and Renn Spencer. Writer Jenny Han will write the script alongside Sarah Kucerka and direct the film.
While story details have been kept under wraps, the film is expected to conclude Billie’s (Tong) journey after rekindling her romance with Conrad (Brenny) at the end of season three.
“There is another big milestone remaining in Belly’s journey, and I thought only a movie could give it its proper due,” Hahn previously shared in a statement. “I am so grateful to Prime Video for continuing to support my vision for this story and for making it possible to share this final chapter with fans.”
