Aubrey Plaza made a radiant appearance at the 2026 Tony Awards, cradling her baby bump alongside her partner Chris Abbott, on Sunday in New York City. The actress, 41, and Abbott, 40, stepped out in black looks, with Plaza wearing a floor-length black dress with white stripes.
She kept her hair down and her accessories simple as the duo posed for photos. Abbott completed it with a black velvet jacket, white shirt, black tie and black slacks.

People broke the news that the couple was expecting their first child together in April. Plaza spoke publicly about the pregnancy for the first time on the “SmartLess” podcast while chatting with hosts Jason Bateman, Will Arnett and Sean Hayes. “Well, there’s a kid inside of me,” the “Parks and Recreation” star shared, adding of motherhood, “I’ve always wanted, I’ve always wanted, I’ve always wanted to see what this is all about, you know? It sounds very interesting, this whole thing.”
“Abbott first addressed the news while being interviewed alongside “Death of a Salesman” co-star Nathan Lane. Asked if he could be congratulated, Abbott smiled and replied: “You can,” before joking when the pregnancy was clarified: “I thought you meant my Tony.” He then admitted he had a lot to celebrate lately, adding: “It’s overrated. This is so beautiful. Thank you so much, it’s so exciting.”

Abbott was nominated at this year’s ceremony for Best Performance by an Actor in a Featured Role in a Play for his role as Biff Loman in the revival of Arthur Miller’s “Death of a Salesman.” The production received nine Tony Award nominations in total. The couple stepped out together in April on the show’s opening night, marking their first public appearance since the pregnancy news broke.
