Phoebe Dynevor’s Shark movie gets a new title, and it’s the first trailer since its release on Netflix

Things aren’t going well for Phoebe Dynevor in the Netflix trailer Thrash.

Director Tommy Wirkola’s thriller will premiere on the streaming service on April 10. The cast consists of Whitney Beck, Djimon Hounsou, Matt Nable, Andrew Lees, Alila Brown, Stacey Clausen, Elia Ungvari, and Dante Ubaldi.

Thrash The film focuses on a coastal town devastated by a Category 5 storm, leading to the arrival of hungry sharks.

“Sharks on the loose in a Category 5 storm,” Hounsou says in the film’s trailer. “Let’s move!”

Later, Dynevor’s pregnant character declares to her soon-to-arrive offspring, “I won’t let him die before he takes his first breath.”

Wirkola – Known for its help with features like Dead snow, Hansel and Gretel: Witch Hunters and Violent night – Take the project out of its own text. He produces alongside Adam McKay and Kevin Missick.

The project was first announced in 2024 as being in the works at Sony Pictures with the title Under the storm Before the name changed a year later to shiver. Earlier this year, news emerged that the film had no title and would be released on Netflix after being removed from Sony’s calendar.

Dynevor appears in 2025 features Inheritance and holiday. The actress is also known for the Netflix movie fair playalong with series such as Younger and Bridgerton.

During an interview with ColliderDynevor teased what viewers can expect Thrash. “I’m so excited about this movie,” she said at the time. “It’s big. It’s sharks. It’s hurricanes. It’s all of these things, and I’m a woman who’s nine months pregnant and has to go through a lot in those 24 hours.”
