Phoebe Bridgers is taking her pop-up concerts from intimate stages to the world’s most famous arena, as the beloved indie singer-songwriter has announced a surprise show at Madison Square Garden scheduled for June 4.
Bridgers revealed the pop-up Monday on Instagram, sharing screenshots of fliers posted around town with details about the party. Tickets will be just $1, and fans can register for tickets until 11:59 PM ET tonight. Proceeds from the show will go to Community Justice Exchange’s national bail fund network, and fans can choose to donate when registering, although a donation does not increase your odds of getting tickets.
Bridgers’ MSG show comes about a month after she played a surprise show in Roswell, New Mexico at The Liberty, where she debuted new music. Since then, she has performed a slate of intimate shows in small markets including Lubbock, Texas, Little Rock, Arkansas and Jackson, Mississippi among others. Madison Square Garden will mark its first large-scale show in a major tourism market since 2023.
Bridgers’ fans have been waiting for a new album from her for years, as she hasn’t released a solo album since 2020. punisher, Which received three Grammy Award nominations. This album earned the group seven Grammy Award nominations, winning Best Alternative Album and Best Rock Song for “Not Strong Enough.”
Aside from music, Bridgers will premiere her film debut later this year at A24’s Peak time, Starring alongside Robert Pattinson.
