Pedro Almodovar wonders if Jacob Elordi’s rise to fame in the entertainment industry happened because he is a “sex symbol or a respected actor.”
During his appearance on No biga or quinky podcast, the Spanish director has been encouraged to collaborate with the Oscar winner on a future project. Almodóvara admitted that Elordi’s stardom is “real,” but some of the projects he’s been involved in have led him to wonder if he only became famous because of his acting skills.
“I can now see that Jacob Elordi’s stardom is actually real,” Almodóvar told HuffPost. “I was still wondering if he was a sex symbol or a respected actor.”
