'Peddi': Ram Charan and Janhvi Kapoor star clears CBFC proceedings; The running time of the sports and action drama exceeds 3 hours

Ram Charan will next be seen in the much-awaited film ‘Peddi’ which is scheduled to hit theaters on June 4, 2026. The film, directed by Buchi Babu Sana and co-starring Janhvi Kapoor, has now completed the censorship formalities, with the latest news suggesting that it has received a UA 16+ certificate from the censor board.

CBFC details

Along with the certification, the runtime of the film has also been revealed. The total running time of CBFC’s official slate, ‘Peddi’, is 189 minutes, meaning the sports drama will run for 3 hours and 9 minutes. This runtime makes it one of the longest films in Ram Charan’s career. According to Pinkvilla, the film reportedly received only minor edits before getting certified.

The makers unveil a special song featuring Shruti Haasan

Ahead of the release, the makers recently released the peppy song ‘Hellallallo’.

The song features Shruti Haasan in a special appearance alongside Ram Charan. The makers released the film during a grand event in Bhopal.
