peacock Dungeon crawler Carl The series has chosen its first actor, one who will be familiar to those who have listened to the audiobook versions of Matt Denneman’s novels.
Jeff Hayes, narrator and producer DCC The audiobooks will voice the character of Princess Donut in the live-action series. Princess Donut is a main character in the books, a cat belonging to Carl’s ex-girlfriend who gains the ability to speak when she becomes part of a survival game show run by aliens who have destroyed most of humanity.
Hayes joined Dinniman and Matt Yost, writer and executive producer of the Peacock series, on stage Thursday at Comic-Con to announce his casting.
Peacock made a serial request for Dungeon crawler Carl In June. The show comes from Universal Global Television and Seth MacFarlane’s Fuzzy Door Productions, which owns the rights to the Dinniman book series. yost (Maul: Shadow Lord) is executive produced with MacFarlane, Erica Huggins and Rachel Hargreaves-Heald for Fuzzy Door. Dinniman is co-executive producer.
Here’s the series’ full description: “An alien invasion has wiped out most of humanity and forced any survivors to fight for their lives in a sadistic, intergalactic game show. Sounds bad, right? Now try doing that with bare feet and a self-centered talking cat wearing a crown as your partner. Welcome to Dungeon Crawler World: Earth, where the apocalypse will be televised… Coast Guard vet Carl finds himself stuck with his ex-girlfriend’s show cat, Princess Donut Queen Anne Chunk, as they try to survive the apocalypse, fight monsters, aliens, crazy AI, and even other survivors… all in the name of good television, entertainment not optional.
the Dungeon crawler Carl Audiobooks have clocked up over 140 million listening hours on Audible to date. Hayes narrates and voices characters, including Princess Donut. He is cast by Matthew N. Sugarman as Weintraub Tobin.
