However, he did end up performing one of his most beloved songs of all time for the “Opalite” singer and NFL player.

The veteran legend performed the song for the newlywed couple at their Madison Square Garden wedding, PEOPLE reported. The report also revealed that fellow veteran star Stevie Nicks also performed at the wedding and gave his blessings to the couple. “After the ceremony, Taylor’s mother Andrea invited everyone into the reception room where the stage was set,” a statement read.Paul McCartney and Taylor Swift have been vocal about their love and admiration for each other, and they even appeared in a Rolling Stone photo shoot together.
While speaking to BBC Radio recently, the veteran singer was asked what kind of advice he would give to Swift, who is considered one of the most famous artists in the world at the moment.He commented, “You see the resemblance, you know the fame and the amount of fame. The global fame that Taylor Swift has and that we have, but I don’t think she needs any advice to tell you the truth.” He also shared that if she needed any advice, he would be happy to oblige her.
“I’m like a big brother to that generation, or more like a grandfather actually,” McCartney concluded.Not only that, but the veteran singer also attended Taylor Swift’s tour shows in 2024, while she was on her “ERAS” tour. The singer was seen in the crowd, swaying to the music at Wembley Stadium in London at the time.
