Paramount+ aims to reveal (posthumously) the Monster of Green Hollow, a serial killer rumored to have killed dozens of people decades ago.

In a new documentary series My Killer Father: The Green Hollow MurdersLucy Studi, one of Donald Studi’s daughters, claims to know where the bodies are buried. She says, literally, they’re in the stone water well over there. Lucy says she was there when Don dumped the bodies and covered them in lye to speed up the decomposition process.

One of Don’s daughters says he was a good man and it’s all a “big, fat” lie (the kind that don’t eat human flesh and bones). Don is now dead – as of 2013 in fact – and the only bones recovered from the alleged mass burial site so far have been from animals. So who is crazy? No, seriously, we’re asking because the answer remains a mystery.

Maybe not for long. Hollywood Reporter The trailer (below) can be exclusively revealed for My Killer Father: The Green Hollow Murdersa three-part series premiering in its entirety on Paramount+ on Tuesday, April 28.

At best, Don Studi was suspiciously surrounded by death. It appears that three of his five wives committed suicide, officially, with a suicide rate of 60 percent. In the 1970s, when the alleged murders began, Iowa’s suicide rate was about 12 out of every 100,000 people, or about 0.00012 percent. So, statistically speaking, marrying without was, at best, a serious risk of mental crisis.

The trailer opens and closes with what appears to be a stuffed animal in the shape of a human being pulled from the property where the bodies are supposedly buried. So this is not a great sign of Don’s innocence.

Nor these quotes:

“He loves you or hates you,” says one interviewee to director Angus James in the trailer. “And if he hates you, you’re dead.”

Another says: “There is no doubt in my mind that Don was a murderer.” “He is the embodiment of evil.”
