Oz Perlman will not be a guest Jimmy Kimmel Live! Monday night anymore.

Although he was previously scheduled to appear on ABC’s late-night talk show on Monday, updated listings show he has been given a mental exchange. Pod Save America Co-hosted by John Lovett.

Hollywood Reporter We have reached out to ABC for comment. Monday’s episode will also feature guest Anthony Anderson.

The move comes days after the 2026 White House Correspondents’ Dinner was fired on Saturday night, where Perelman was the host. Moments before the incident — which saw 31-year-old Cole Thomas Allen, armed with multiple weapons, rush through a security checkpoint at the Washington Hilton — Perlman was performing a magic trick on Carolyn Levitt, who was sitting next to President Donald Trump and First Lady Melania Trump in the hall.

They were then all seen crouching down on the floor behind the table on stage, before Trump and Melania were escorted from the room. Allen, who was subdued by the authorities, has since been charged with attempting to assassinate Trump.

Perelman later issued a statement about the incident. “Thank you all for checking me out,” he wrote on Instagram. “I’m fine and thank God everyone is fine! I was in the middle of performing for the President and First Lady when I looked up to see a noise, and I thought it was a bomb about to go off or gunfire. We got to the deck quickly and the Secret Service acted decisively and professionally to protect us all. We lay on the floor, and I was two feet away from President Trump, with my eyes locked with each other. It was probably the scariest moment of my life and I’ll never forget it. Everyone’s so happy and well.”

the Jimmy Kimmel Live! The lineup change also came as host Jimmy Kimmel faced criticism from Trump again. Both the president and Melania called for his show to be canceled in the wake of the White House Correspondents’ Dinner shooting, and condemned the comedian’s ill-timed joke last week in which he called Melania a “pregnant widow.”

Jimmy Kimmel Live! It airs weeknights on ABC at 11:35 PM ET/PT.
