Olivia Rodrigo launches a music festival featuring Chappelle Rowan and Stevie Nicks

Star Olivia Rodrigo confirmed she is hosting her own music festival on Monday, booking a star-studded, all-female bill featuring the likes of herself, Chappelle Rowan, Stevie Nicks and Mitski to name a few.

Daisy Chain Fields, as the festival is called, will take place on August 29 at Great Park in Irvine, California and will also feature Karen O, Sarah McLachlan, Katseye, Bikini Kill, Die Spitz, Doechii, Eli, Garbage, Not For Radio, Quiet Light, Rachel Chinouriri, Santigold, and The Breeders.

In the festival’s mission statement, Rodrigo Desi described Chain Fields as “a festival founded on the belief that joy, community, and creativity can inspire meaningful change. It affirms that music and collective experience can serve as enduring engines of progress and social change. It is a place where inspiration and curiosity lead to knowledge, power, and action.”

Net proceeds from the event will go to nearly a dozen nonprofit groups including Baby2Baby, Planned Parenthood, the Center for Reproductive Rights, and the National Domestic Workers Alliance, among others.

Pre-sale for festival tickets begins June 24 at 10 a.m. PT. This event is promoted by C3 and Live Nation.

Rodrigo announced that Daisy Chain Fields has received her third number one album You look very sad for a girl in love, It moved 485,000 units for the first week.

“Daisy Chain Fields is built on the belief that joy, community, and creativity can inspire meaningful change,” Rodrigo said in a statement. “I’m so excited to celebrate this amazing lineup of women, and I’m grateful to all of our partners for helping us make this festival come to life. By bringing together women in music and organizations that help shape a better future for women and girls, I hope we can build a community that inspires hope and positive change.”
