‘Off Campus’ star Steven Kalin takes you behind the scenes at his Calvin Klein-inspired Verizon Spot

Off campus Steven Cullen stars in a new Verizon ad.

The brand released a one-minute clip titled “Simplicity is Sexy” on Tuesday morning, marking Kalyn’s first major merchandising deal since the release of the popular college romance series. “It was a little nerve-wracking at first, but once I got into the swing of things, it became a lot of fun,” Kalin says. In the newly released ad, which aims to highlight the company’s newly launched simplicity plan, the blonde Kalyn tells the camera in a voiceover: “It’s you. It’s just you. You’re the one.” The sultry music of INXS’s song “Never Tear Us Apart” is the soundtrack to Kalin’s speech about being done with noise and games, as he dances and throws his white tank top towards the camera.

Kalyn, who watched a clip of the video before this conversation, couldn’t get over how “amazing” it was. the Off campus The actor said the director, who captured that moment on film, played a song of Kalin’s choice — Led Zeppelin’s “Hey Hey What Can I Do” — and let him go. “You know when you listen to your song in the privacy of your own home?” He says.

His family and friends have enjoyed seeing the actor in this new light. “I showed it to my fiancée Victoria, and she said, ‘Go home now,’” he says, laughing. “I loved it. I thought it was great.”

Verizon has turned to these celebrity sites in recent months.
