Bright talks about her experience filming the romantic series and her professional relationship with her on-screen love interest.During her appearance on Not Skinny But Not Fat, Ella Bright revealed that she was 18 years old when the series was filmed. “I feel people care, but I never once felt left out because I was younger than everyone else,” she says. “We are all one family, everyone was more than perfect, and I couldn’t feel more comfortable in this group with these people.”

Bright says she comes to the job with thorough preparation. “I came into this job and while reading chemistry I gained enough information, knowledge and understanding of what this role and show required,” she explains. “And I fell in love with Hannah and these texts instantly. There was never any question that I didn’t want to do it.”Off Campus is based on the best-selling book by Elle Kennedy, which follows an elite college ice hockey team at the fictional Briar University as they navigate relationships, friendships and young adulthood. Bright plays Hannah, a music student who devises a fake dating plan with hockey star Garrett (Camille) to attract the attention of her boyfriend, Justin (Josh Huston). Things get complicated when Hannah and Garrett develop feelings for each other.

Bright previously spoke about her relationship with Camille during an interview at the Page, Screen and Everything In Between convention at Creation Entertainment in Whippany, New Jersey. “I remember the first time I met Belmont, we did the first kiss scene between Hannah and Garrett, obviously without kissing,” she says. “But it was really funny, because we were getting really close and they were like, ‘And they cut!’ It was really fun.

Off-camera, she describes her TV love interest as “the best” and notes that they became “really fast friends.” “We have so much fun together. He’s the greatest,” Bright adds. “[We] “We met in a chemistry session, got each other’s numbers, and have been friends ever since.”“When you spend so much time with someone on set, we’ll have like 15 or 16 hours a day, and you have to be best friends.
