While speaking with PEOPLE about her film, she noted that she was protecting her safety and limiting what she saw on social media about her latest film. She also added that her mother used to do the same and stayed away from reading comments about her film. She added that this is “because it’s the beginning of a new process and a new step in my career, and I really want to make sure that I protect myself first, while also giving thanks to everyone who loves the film.”
“As for how she manages all of this, the actress revealed that the only thing she allows herself to see is what her team and family members send her. “And then also, everything I get in person, it allows me to see that person physically, receive what they’re saying, and say ‘thank you’ directly to them,” she joked.
