Not Vijay or Rajinikanth, Jiiva headlines 'Super Good 100'; A sequel to 'Thalaivar Thambi Thalainaiyil' is on cards

Actor Jiiva is steadily building strong momentum in his career once again after the success of ‘Thalaivar Thambi Thalainaiyil’. The film was a huge hit during the holiday season and helped him get back on the path to success after a long break.

Now that Jeeva has gained more confidence, he is choosing his films carefully, paying attention to great scripts and collaborations that can help him establish himself once again in Tamil cinema.

Jiiva shuts down “Super Good 100” project.

According to a report by Maalaimalar, Super Good Films’ much-awaited landmark project, titled ‘Super Good 100’, was planned earlier with top stars like Vijay or Rajinikanth in the lead. However, due to various production changes, the project has now been locked with Jiiva as the lead actor.

The sequel to ‘Thalaivar Thambi Thalainaiyil’ will be ‘Super Good 100’ and an official announcement is expected soon. This development has created a buzz in Kollywood, as the film is expected to mark a major milestone for the production house. The film is said to be broadly conceived with commercial elements and strong family appeal.

Jiiva’s new movie trailer expands its crowded line-up

Besides Super Good 100, Jiiva already has several projects.

He is working on a film directed by KG Balasubramani, who had directed the film Black earlier, and another project titled Jaalya Iruntha Oruvan directed by Rajesh M. Now, this newly announced film is adding more steam to his busy schedule. The next project will be directed by Ra. Venkat, who previously made Kida. Although Kida received a mediocre response at the box office, it was appreciated for its storytelling and content-driven approach.

Jiiva is focused on a strong comeback

Cinematographer Sukumar will be handling the visuals of Jiiva’s remake with Ra Venkatt, and the shooting is expected to begin next month in Madurai and its surrounding areas. After recently losing his father RB Chaudhary, Jeeva is slowly returning to full focus on his film career. He will play an important role in the next phase of his career success with films like “Super Good 100” and many other projects yet to come.
