In a groundbreaking feat, North West, the talented daughter of celebrities Kim Kardashian and Kanye West, has released her first EP titled “N0rth4evr.” When she was just 12 years old, she took the creative reins, not only performing but also producing all six songs herself. Her family stood behind her, providing overwhelming support both online and at home.
North West released her first EP, “N0rth4evr,” and her family celebrated the moment both online and at home. The 12-year-old daughter of Kim Kardashian and Kanye West dropped the six-track project on Friday, May 1.
Rob Kardashian, Khloe Kardashian and Kris Jenner showed their support on Instagram Stories by posting photos of themselves streaming her music and tagging North, highlighting the strong family support for her debut release.
North West releases first EP “N0rth4evr”
According to People, North also celebrated the release at home. Through her Instagram stories, she showed off decorations coordinated by her mother, Kim Kardashian. While showing a snippet of the song “Aishite (愛して),” North filmed inflatable balloons reading “N0rth4evr” before turning the camera on herself and striking a pose.North performed every song on the EP and also produced the full project. The release follows her recent work with other artists. She appeared on FKA Twigs’ album Eusexua, produced Lil Novi’s single Justswagup, and had a guest role on the breakout album skaiwater.
North West gets family support ahead of festival debut
North is now preparing for her first performance at the festival. She is scheduled to perform at Lyrical Lemonade’s Summer Smash in Chicago in June. The lineup also includes Playboi Carti, Lil Uzi Vert, Skrillex, Sexyy Red, Chief Keef and more.
Earlier this month, Kanye West brought North on stage at his SoFi Stadium concert. She wore blue hair in two high braids, large black sunglasses, and a t-shirt with her father’s name on the back. North joined him on “Speaking Up” and “Hole On My Hand”. She also wore a chain with a skull and crossbones pendant. Father and daughter embraced during the show.In January, North shared the first snippet of “Piercing on My Hand (Ye Version)” on Instagram Stories.
The track seems to address the public conversation about her two skin piercings.“Hole my hand and the others are holding the bands,” North sang. “No friends, just filter, you won’t understand.”She also sang, “All my friends are successful, you know I’m not lazy/You’re so mad because I’m mainstream,” adding, “I want more piercings and tattoos/I love blue hair, put it in some braids/Turn the music up to the max/I want a hundred thousand racks.”North has built her musical portfolio through solo work, collaborations, and live appearances. With “N0rth4evr” out now, the EP marks her first full-length release as she prepares to take the stage at Summer Smash in June.
