Nikki Glaser, two-time Golden Globes host and perennial darling of the comedy scene, revealed one of her personal beliefs during an interview on… Call her father podcast, as host Alex Cooper tells that she wants her on-again off-again boyfriend Chris Convey to hook up with other women.
The 41-year-old comedian’s honest style catapulted her to fame after her side-roasting of Tom Brady in a 2024 Netflix special left Kevin Hart, Jeff Ross and fans at home with their jaws on the floor. Her stock soared even more when she brought the same humor to the awards circuit at the 2025 Golden Globes; Her polished and poised performance earned her an invitation to return to host the ceremony again this year. She recently signed on to host the Golden Globe Awards for the third time in 2027.
Although various topics were discussed with Cooper during the hour-and-twenty-minute conversation, Glaser was very frank when discussing her sexuality and her decade-long relationship with Convey.
“In a relationship, I don’t really care if my boyfriend is in a relationship,” she told Cooper. “But it’s not a two-way street. I’m not someone who likes to get attached when I’m in a relationship — I don’t really care about it. But I don’t care if someone else does. In fact, I kind of like it.”
Glaser said this interest in Convey’s sex life began early in their relationship. The two met in 2013, when he was a producer on the MTV series she hosted.
“I would always ask him about past relationships and girlfriends and how they got together — like, ‘How did you first know that you liked each other?’” “I loved it,” Glaser said, admitting that it “made her excited to think about him doing it with other girls.”
Glaser said she would ask about all of his girlfriends and other relationships — “every detail about him.”
“It would be like foreplay for me. I would get excited talking about it,” she said, describing what became a special turn on for her. As time went on, Glaser said she eventually grew bored with his old stories and encouraged him to “get more.”
“I want a guy that other girls want,” she recalled telling Convey.
But there are rules. Glaser explained that Convey is responsible for disclosing their arrangement to other women he sees, and is forbidden from kissing them. She said any emotional attachment should be closed immediately.
“If a man had sex with a woman and used protection and only had sex for one night, I literally wouldn’t care if my husband did that,” Glaser said. “I don’t know why.
