Nafisa Ali revealed that the series “Max, Maine and Muzaki” discusses issues that affect young people, such as mental health, heartbreak and emotional struggles, in addition to the realities of aging. “Aging is a reality, and there are many issues related to it that we don’t think about much.
It is important to highlight that sensitivity. “This is a young film that has been appreciated and recognized globally,” the 69-year-old told ANI.Moreover, Ali noted that while theatrical viewing may be expensive for families, she hopes more people will be able to watch after the OTT release. “My wish is that families can watch it together at home because this is a story that touches your heart and changes your thinking,” she told the outlet, before adding: “This is very important in Indian cinema today.” Speaking about the issues faced by young people, she said that such films can bring about a positive change in addressing psychological problems.

Nafisa Ali Cancer battle
Nafisa Ali was diagnosed with stage III peritoneal and ovarian cancer in 2018 and has entered remission.
However, the devastating disease returned last year. Talking about how she lived with the pain and diagnosis, she said, “I knew my stomach pain was cancer, but the doctors couldn’t diagnose it, which led to stage 4. I returned to Delhi two months later and told my doctor, ‘I don’t agree with your diagnosis.’
There must be something wrong with me,” he said during a previous interview with Vit Tac.Ali collapsed in front of the doctor and said that she had been incorrectly diagnosed. “I felt very upset. I actually cried in front of the doctor and said: ‘I’m the last person to go to the doctor, and if you come again and again, you have to take it seriously,'” she said, recalling how the specialists finally noticed her illness.
