Udit Narayan's first wife Ranjana filed a complaint, alleging that he removed her uterus without her consent under the guise of medical treatment.

Popular Bollywood playback singer Udit Narayan His first wife Ranjana is embroiled in controversy once again after she lodged a complaint at the Women’s Police Station in Supal, Bihar, alleging that her uterus was removed without her knowledge on the pretext of medical treatment.According to NDTV, Ranjana along with her lawyer Karunakant Jha reached the police station on Tuesday and submitted a formal application. In her complaint, she accused Udit Narayan, his two brothers – Sanjay Kumar Jha and Lalit Narayan Jha – and his second wife. Deepa Narayan Being part of a criminal conspiracy.

Marriage, Divorce and Second Marriage Claims

In her application, Ranjana identified herself as the 61-year-old daughter of Chandrakant Jha of Supal district.

She claims to have married Udit Narayan on 7th December 1984 following Hindu rites and rituals.She stated that in 1985, Udit moved to Mumbai to pursue his singing career. During this time, she came to know through media reports that he had married Deepa Narayan. However, she alleged that he denied or misled her whenever she was confronted.

Alleged surgery without permission

Ranjana alleged that in 1996, Udit and his brothers took her to a big hospital in Delhi for treatment.

It was during this visit, she claimed, that her uterus was removed without her consent or knowledge. She also alleged that Deepa Narayan was in the hospital at that time.She stated that she discovered the removal years later during medical treatment, which shocked and distressed her.

Allegations of abuse and neglect

Ranjana also alleged that when she went to Mumbai in 2006, Udit and Deepa abused her and did not allow her to enter their residence.

She later visited her in-laws’ home in Nepal, where she claimed she was humiliated and forced to leave. Since then, she is said to be staying at her parents’ house.She said that she had previously approached the family court in Supal and the Women’s Commission. “I want justice,” says Ranjana

Speaking to the media, Ranjana said that despite repeated assurances, she had to approach the police again as there was no result.“You all know that Udit Narayan ji repeatedly makes promises but does not fulfill them. He has not done anything till now, that’s why I have come to Mahila police station. I want justice,” she said.She further said, “When we went to the Women’s Commission, they initially refused to entertain our complaint.

After we submitted the written application, it was accepted. But even today he keeps cheating on me. He makes the same promises again whenever he comes to the village.“These days, I am constantly sick and need his support. But Udit Narayan is not talking or doing anything. He recently came to the village, made promises once again and left,” she claimed.Ranjana alleged that the matter is already pending in the court and despite Udit’s presence there, no concrete steps have been taken so far.

Police response

Meanwhile, Anju Tiwari, officer in charge of Mahila Police Station confirmed that the complaint has been received. She stated that the incidents mentioned are almost three decades old.She said that the matter is currently under investigation. An FIR will be registered based on the facts revealed and further action will be taken accordingly.
